Dear Potential Stallholder

Any jewellery must be hand-crafted by the person booking (not bought in). People doing other bead crafted items - again hand-crafted only, are welcome. It must be realised that the fairs are mainly for people who want to make their own jewellery or other beaded items.

For the Spring Bead Fair we allow handcrafted jewellery but this does not necessarily have to be made by the stallholder. The Xmas fair it must be made by the stallholder or their family.

For those selling beads and/or components these can either be hand-crafted or bought in. There maybe limited additional space for those wishing to demonstate their craft - please enquire first.

Our fees are competative and the admission fee of £4 takes into consideration the popular location of our venue and the public car parking facilities on hand at the Chester Racecourse - car parking is free for people attending the fair, which normally is a minimum £3. (Stall holders will receive unloading and parking details prior to event).

These car parking facilities are regularly used by people visiting the main shopping area of Chester, which is only a short distance from the racecourse. There are other parking facilities in and around Chester.

We will be in the Concourse Room - which has plenty of space for approx. 39 stallholders. There will also be snacks/refreshments available in the adjoining ‘Turf’ room for visitors to purchase during the opening hours of our event and for stallholders from 9am. (This is run by the venue and not by ourselves).

There is disabled access to the Concourse Room, and apart from a small raised area that is easily accessable for the disabled, all facilities are contained on the ground floor (apart from any workshops).

If you have never previously exhibited at a the fair before and/or would like advice or any further details please do not hesitate to contact me.

*I would be grateful if those exhibiting hand-crafted jewellery could enclose images of some their creations or supply a website with images already on. This is to ensure that we do not have too many of the same sort of jewellery being displayed - we would like a diversity of products.

Thank you and we look forward to you exhibiting with us at the fair.
